The residents of Karnal are all set to get their taste buds titillated. CHD Developers Ltd. celebrated the Bhoomi Pujan of Karnal’s first ever Food Court aptly named ‘Daana Paani’ at their integrated township, CHD City recently.
The food court spread over an area of 2.26 acres built over 50,000 sq ft on two levels, will house prominent food brands such as Haldiram’s, which is a first for Karnal. Haldiram’s will cover about 7,000 sq ft of the food court. ‘Daana Paani’ will offer the quintessential aura and flavours of street foods and ethnic favorites. The proposed project Daana Paani is on the NH-1, one can take a break here, dine and relax and then drive back. The layout and architecture is very contemporary as compared to the mundane food courts and is in sync with the global trends. It will be a one-stop food destination for consumers across the age-group and will provide a beautiful ambience to enjoy the delicacies. The centrally air-conditioned food court also offers ample parking facilities on the ground floor. A part of CHD City, the food court will be made with an investment of Rs. 25 crore. CHD City has already transformed the face of Karnal by being the first integrated township of its kind in the area. This Food court will add to the wholesome experience provided by CHD to its residents.
Rajinder Kumar Mittal, Chairman, CHD Developers Ltd said, “We have always endeavored to provide our customers with the best of services and recreational facilities and amenities. Being the biggest food court on this stretch ‘Daana Paani’ aims to become much more than just a place to eat; it will eventually expand into a destination where one will meet, interact, socialise, a place where a group—comprising of family, friends or colleagues—will get an array of food choices under one roof, however varied their tastes may be. It will be an experience one will remember through the journey and will cherish afterwards.”
Mr. Gaurav Mittal, MD, CHD Developers Ltd. added, “This food court aims to make the overall experience for our consumers interesting and worthwhile. Located at a strategic location we expect a very high footfall at ‘Daana Paani.’ We also plan to come up with similar food courts at our other projects. ”
Talking about various features of the food court, Ravi Saund, COO, CHD Developers Ltd said, “Keeping the North Indian clientele in mind, we have decided to get a leading north Indian cuisine chain, a Chinese and Thai specialist, a trendy bistro/cafe, a baker, an Italian outlet, a kid’s favorite fast-food joint etc. We are in talks with various F and B brands open to the idea of being a part of Karnal’s first food court. The food court will also enthrall the visitors with tranquil water bodies, exotic flora and fauna, kid’s zone apart from other world class amenities.” The entire design of ‘Daana Paani’ is physically-challenged friendly.
