 The first INDIA EMPIRE NRI Awards were held on January 10, 2010 at Hotel Ramada Plaza in New Delhi. Prominent NRIs from all over the world attended. In all 16 Overseas Indians from 11 nations were honoured by the magazine. The awards were presented by Minister for Overseas Indian Affairs Vayalar Ravi.
