Ageing…
The ultimate process

To most of us ageing means living a life full of complicated illnesses, fragility, loss of mental power, depressing and decreasing state hence it is better to die early. If we think otherwise, a healthy and good quality of life throughout, it will encourage everybody to live long. We certainly will not age if we lead such a life.

We can categories our ageing into three types.

  1. Chronological age is the number of years we live as per the calendar.
  2. Biological age is the result of the physical wear and tear of our body.
  3. Psychological age is our mental age, how old we think we are.

All these ages are interdependent but independent too.

If we judge age solely by chronological age it will be misleading. For example; a man of 35 years leading a lavish life may have a body of a 50-year-old with heart problem or diabetes which is very common these days. And a person of 60 years with stamina and energy equal to that of a teenager, something that isn’t very rare.

To understand ageing process completely we must understand the acute and hormonal changes that occur in our lifetime and their effect esp. on our skin. These changes happen not on the superficial part but few millimeters down, in the deeper layers of the Skin i.e. Dermis

The slow loss of dermal tissue loses overall elasticity and thickness and skin becomes loose and dry. It is a genetically controlled process, accelerated by environmental factors, heredity, dietary habits and disease states if any.

External causes like smoking, Photo-ageing manifest as Freckles, age spots, spider veins, fine wrinkles, dull complexion, and rough, reddish, wart like, patches on skin. With age, repetitive facial expressions and movements too leave fine lines and create grooves due to loss of skin elasticity underneath.

Gravity also plays its part with age and causes nose droop, elongated ears, eyelid fall, under eye bags, disappearance of upper lip and prominent lower lip in some. Some changes happen with sleeping postures too. Over the years, we see wrinkles come up on forehead, if you sleep on face, around ears, chin and cheek when we take a sides position, this is due to the weakness and constant pressure on the particular site.

Besides the external changes, due to the hormonal imbalance with age there are changes in all the systems of body such as the bone density and muscle mass reduction. Some of the other factors that accelerate ageing are:

It therefore becomes very important to work towards delaying our ageing process that too from an early stage. Optimism, hope, a sense of control, good nutrition and unconditional happiness in what ever we do, are some of the basic qualities that we should imbibe to confirm an eternal youth.

Key to slowing our ageing process (the root cause analysis) is to let our bodies grow in an environment that slows down our metabolism. We need to work at the very cellular level just as the anti-oxidants work with cells.

The cells are constantly in motion, multiplying at a constant speed or at times an ever-increasing speed that manifests into our fast actions, rapid growth, huge wear and tear and at times rapid death too!
We need to re-train, modify and condition our minds to slow down this rapid process at this very cellular level. This happens by the habit of mental relaxation through Yog and meditation.

Science has also developed some thing closest to the fountain of youth. That is "Human growth agent"(HGa). It is known to be important for tissue repair, muscle repair, healing, brain functions, physical and mental health, bone strength, Energy and metabolism, in fact every thing possible in everyday life.

The same role that is played by "Human Growth Hormones"(HGh), in a living body.
HGh, reaches its peak in the body during adolescence. As we age its production reduces, the reason for our slackness. HGa is designed to help our body to naturally increase its levels of HGh, Which increases weight loss, muscle gain, energy levels, sexual performance and endurance.
