DIPLOMATS TO INDIA EMPIRE
Select The Country:
LUXEMBOURG
JULY 2020
Due to the pandemic, the government decided not to celebrate this year's National Day and to avoid any large festivities and celebrations and the gathering of large crowds until mid-July. A small ceremony was held at the Monument of National Solidarity where H.R.H. the Grand Duke, Prime Minister Xavier Bettel and the President of the Chamber of Deputies Fernand Etgen held speeches to also thank the population and highlight the importance of the Luxembourgish solidarity during these challenging times.

APRIL 2019
I am extremely happy to introduce you to the April 2019 special issue of the India Empire magazine dedicated to Luxembourg. It is an excellent occasion to present my country in this exceptional year as we are currently celebrating the 70th Anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations between the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and the Republic of India, signed on 1 July 1948, as well as the upcoming 90th Anniversary of Luxembourg's first Vice-Consulate in Bombay, established on 5 November 1929.
