In 2014, a counselling module for adolescents on six health issues was developed by us on behalf of the WHO. In 2015, RDI was designated as National Training Partner for Adolescent Health Counselors Program by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, wherein participants from 31 States/UTs of India were trained with the support of UNFPA. RDI was also assigned as a Regional Training Partner for Peer Educators for the states of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Haryana and Chandigarh.

Water and sanitation was close to Swamiji’s heart. He chose to reduce the drudgery of women by enabling water availability in the village itself as also ensuring the availability of trained women plumbers. Projects are implemented through village-based water and sanitation committees, which plan, design, implement and supervise their own schemes. Starting from 5 villages, today over 470 villages have been covered through comprehensive community led water projects.
