Sadhana Mandir Ashram, Rishikesh

The prophecy came true. Swamiji founded Sadhana Mandir Trust in 1960. In 1967, he then built an ashram in Rishikesh nestled in the foothills of the Himalayas, away from the hustle and bustle of Rishikesh on the banks of holy river Ganges.ver the years, with Swamiji’s efforts the ashram developed into an international retreat center for earnest aspirants to practice meditation in a spiritually inspiring environment besides beautiful flowering gardens, mango trees and a lotus pond.

A quiet and serene atmosphere at the ashram aids the seekers in experiencing the nature of their being on the physical, pranic, mental and spiritual levels. At Sadhana Mandir, seekers are encouraged to participate in gentle yoga classes, breathing and relaxation practicums, guided meditation practice, in addition to individualized instruction in yoga science.

Practitioners have easy access to books authored by Swami Rama, Swami Veda, and senior practitioners of Himalayan Tradition, besides books by renowned authors on the related / aligned subjects. Facilities are also available for viewing DVD lectures by Gurudev.
