THE SAGE WHO INSPIRED
Wisdom has invariably walked tall in the mystical Himalayas ...
Bengali Baba asked Swami Rama to see the ultimate Reality as all-pervasive throughout the universe. He instructed him not to get attached to the pleasures received from the objects of the world, and to treat them as means for spiritual progress. He also asked his pupil not to covet anyone’s property, woman, or wealth. Spiritual practice, he learnt, required constant vigilance of thought, speech and action.
He also learnt from his Master that knowing truth directly is the best kind of confirmation. Then you do not have to seek out your neighbors or your teachers to find the truth. One is no longer required to seek confirmation in books. Spiritual truth does not need an external witness. It is best to tread the path of direct experience where one attains a state where all doubts have dissolved in the clear stream of clarity.
