We are living in a world that is less than perfect, especially now, when our patience and finances are running thin. One thing, though, we cannot afford to lose during this epic disorder and calam­­ity is our will power. In the unforgettable words of poet laureate Rabindranath Tagore, we must create a world, “where tireless striving stretches its arms towards perfection.” In his own space, Dr Harsh Vardhan, India’s Health Minister (and also Minister for Family Welfare, Science and Technology, Earth Sciences) has been tirelessly striving to restore the country’s trust in the healthcare system. He’s worked up a rigorous schedule, and in the words of Mahatma Gandhi, has almost lost himself in the service of others.
