Management by coaching
When I started InterraIT In 1997 ...
The most important element in any education or development being empowerment, manager cum coach performs the duty of empowering his employee to do more evolved and complex tasks than he is able to do so far. Management can be done through so many ways and styles. The more well-known or recognized among these are management by system, management by example, management by service, management by objectives and some more. An organization which takes management of resources seriously adopts any one or more of these routes to achieve their target. In my personal case I find management by coaching one step ahead of others. Because at the end of the day, you profit either way, as a coach or a trainee.
