On September 1, on the main stage of the Holiday in the Central Park of Slonim the opening and closing ceremonies of the Holiday, the performance of guests – artists of the Belarusian stage will be held. As part of the Day of Written Language, the ceremony of awarding the “National Literary Award” will be held. The Grand opening of the new bookstore and multifunctional “smart” pavilion of “Belsoyuzpechat” Company will take place.

On the surrounding streets festive trade will be organized. There will be festival of books and press, sites of folk artists, artists, children’s camps, exhibitions of museums and libraries. Throughout the day, presentations of Belarusian publishing houses, performances of creative collectives of the youth of the region, other activities will take place.

Grodno Regional Executive Committee and Slonim District Executive Committee will organize the work of sites “Flower Dance”, “Folk Culture – a Source of Spirituality”, “Youth”, “Magic Word of the Theater”, “Beauty of Skilled Hands”, “Turning the Pages of History...”, “Rainbow of Childhood”, “Touch the Spirituality”, etc.
