BILATERAL ENGAGEMENTS

“With a history of more than twelve centuries as a State-Nation, Morocco has become a very solid and stable country. Thanks to its strategic location and world-class infrastructure, Morocco is recognized to be one of the most attractive markets in Africa and worldwide. In 1957, Morocco and India established their diplomatic relations, which have been consolidated mainly after the second visit of His Majesty the King Mohammed VI to India in 2015. During this historic and memorable visit, His Majesty and the Honorable Prime Minister of India expressed their common will to raise the level of the bilateral relations to a Strategic Partnership with stronger ambitions and renewed horizons. Since then, almost
40 agreements/MoUs covering several and new areas of cooperation have been signed between the two countries. They constitute today the pillar for this Strategic Partnership and open new horizons for both countries to look into their common future with solid basis and brighter perspectives”
—H.E. Mohamed Maliki, Ambassador of His Majesty The King of Morocco to the Republic of India
