Interview with H.E. Mr Daniel Chuburu

This is the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Argentine Republic and India. Ambassador of the Argentine Republic H.E. Daniel Chuburu spoke with India Empire’s Editor and Publisher Sayantan Chakravarty on the growing and strengthening relations between the two nations, especially in the wake of Argentina’s President H.E. Mauricio Macri’s visit to India in February 2019

What is your current reading of Indo-Argentine relations?

Following the visit of President Mauricio Macri we are looking at three main pillars in our relationship. We’re more than hopeful of stepping up the quality of our existing relationship, that is do more than merely buying from one another. Buying, as you know, can nowadays be done from any market in the world through traders. Sometimes you do not even know the market, the trader simply brings you the stuff, it could be delivered from anywhere in the world, including Argentina. So we need to go beyond simply buying and step up the cooperation.
