Cigarette maker Godfrey Phillips India reported a 61.26 per cent rise in its standalone net profit to Rs 61.99 crore in the quarter ended December 31, 2017 as compared to Rs 38.44 crore in the year-ago period. On a comparable basis, gross sales during the quarter under review were at Rs 1,528.48 crore as against Rs 1,352.05 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.
