ABOUT H.E. DOYKOV
Mr Doykov was born on January 31, 1964 in Bulgaria. He arrived in India...
From 2008 to 2012 he was Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria to the Tunisian Republic. In this capacity he worked also as Head of the NATO Contact Point Embassy in Tunis (January 2009-December 2010) and from 2010 till 2012 he was appointed as Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria to the Islamic Republic of Mauritania (non-resident, based in Tunis, Tunisia).
He started his diplomatic career as Third Secretary at the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria to the Arab Republic of Egypt (1993-1997) and Expert at the Arab Countries Directorate of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (1992-1993).
Ambassador Doykov earned his Master’s degrees in International Relations with command of a Foreign Language (Arabic) from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations, Russian Federation (1985-1991) and in Business Administration (MBA) from the United Business Institutes, Brussels, Belgium (2000-2002). Currently he is doing a Postgraduate diploma in International Law and Diplomacy (one-year programme).
In 2015, 2016 and 2017 respectively he participated in the Programme on e-Learning and Digital Education in the Administrative Staff College of India in Hyderabad, the Winter School for Diplomats at the School of International Studies of the Jawaharlal Nehru University in New Delhi and a two week course on International Law, organised by the Indian Society of International Law.
