What is the kind of Industry Interface that the NDIM provides to students?

At NDIM, we have taken the concept of industry interface to the next level, ensuring that our students not only engage with top leaders but also become deeply embedded in industry ecosystems while still at the campus. Beyond industry guest lectures and corporate mentoring, students collaborate directly with companies on live projects, gaining hands-on experience in sectors such as technology, finance, healthcare, sustainability, etc. This allows students to have real-time exposure to industry innovations, challenges, and problem-solving dynamics.

Our Corporate Mentoring Program goes beyond the ordinary, creating meaningful partnerships with industry leaders, unicorn founders, and senior executives, who provide invaluable mentorship and guidance to every student. A cornerstone of our strategy on futuristic curriculum and placements is the Academic Advisory Council, which brings together industry experts, policymakers, and seven Padma Awardees regularly at the campus. These thought leaders lend their deep expertise and influence, allowing us to forge strategic partnerships, stay ahead of emerging trends, and keep our curriculum aligned with global industry standards. Their association ensures our students are not only connected to the industry but also equipped with the most relevant skills and knowledge to excel as future leaders.

We also enrich the student experience by regularly inviting dignitaries, industry titans, and renowned academics for guest lectures and interactions. These engagements offer students direct exposure to current industry trends, strategic thinking, and real-world challenges, expanding their perspectives and reinforcing our strong ties with the industry. These insights are vital in preparing students to navigate the ever-evolving business landscape.

Our alumni network is another major asset. With our graduates holding senior positions across diverse industries (27 batches having graduated), they serve as dedicated mentors, providing critical support, insider knowledge, and networking opportunities for current students. This strong alumni involvement not only accelerates students’ professional growth but also strengthens our community’s influence in the business world.

What sets NDIM apart is the fact that global MNCs appreciate and trust our educational framework, academic learning, extracurricular activities, and our students’ skills and proficiencies being closely aligned with the skills and competencies emphasized by the World Economic Forum which forms the basis of our evaluations.

As a forward-looking institution, we recognize that a tremendous gap lies in equipping graduates with the skills that today’s roles demand. By staying ahead of global industry shifts and preparing our students for emerging opportunities, such as the growing presence of international companies in India, we ensure they are ready to seize these futuristic prospects.

We are renowned for achieving 100% employability, with 97% of our students placed and 3% launching startups each year. As one of the few institutions to establish ‘Womenovator’ with industry backing, we actively support female students in entrepreneurship and social initiatives. Additionally, our B-school, in collaboration with ASSOCHAM, hosts an incubation center that fosters an entrepreneurial environment. As a result of these efforts, many students secure placements as early as their third semester itself.

Please explain the concept of International Immersion.

At NDIM, the concept of International Immersion is central to providing our students with invaluable global exposure and opportunities. Our extensive international collaborations open doors to a wealth of experiences, highlighted by partnerships with leading institutions such as AIT Thailand and the University at Buffalo. A significant milestone was marked by the recent visit of Prof. Satish K. Tripathi, a distinguished global educationist and President of the University at Buffalo, reinforcing our commitment to world-class management education and signing far-reaching MOU with us, same has been with the USA’s 87-year-old Pepperdine university since 2017 with whom we hosted over 35 CEOs and functional heads from prominent US-based multinational corporations, along with deans and academic leaders from Pepperdine University at our campus. This gathering emphasized our dedication to integrating global perspectives into our programs.

Furthermore, the establishment of the Japan Centre of Excellence in 2018 and the Korea Centre of Excellence in 2022 illustrates our strategic focus on delivering futuristic education with a global resonance. These centers are meticulously designed to meet the demand for specialized skills, preparing students for distinct markets and industries on an unprecedented scale. Through these initiatives, NDIM ensures that our students are equipped with the international insights and expertise needed to excel in a dynamic global business environment. This year our students received 10% offers from Japanese and Korean MNCs.
