The First World Community (FWC) in association with GOPIO International Malaysia participated at the GOPIO International Business Summit and Expo at the World Trade Center in Kuala Lumpur held between December 1 and 3, 2023.

The FWC aims to access knowledge, skills and innovative practices. A not-for-profit organization, FWC is a business facilitator that sits on a foundation of 5Es—Ethos, Ethics, Economy, Education and Environment—to create and nurture a vibrant business ecosystem. The FWC participated at the GOPIO Summit with a contingent in excess of 100 entrepreneurs and innovators from southern India.

In the words of Dr CK Ashok Kumar, Founder Chairman of FWC, the vision and the mission of the organization is “To redeem our lost glory and pride from the present status as a third world country to a first world nation. We wish to usher in a hunger-free, disease-free, happy, healthy, one world community by channelizing the power of the Indian youth and our national demographic dividend into an entrepreneurial economy that is able to create and sustain world class global brands.”

ACTIVITIES

The FWC has been proactively engaging across sectors to foster innovation and handhold startups. It held a business meeting and experts’ talk on Changing to thrive in the digital era where the panelists included Mr. Sivaraja, CEO, Startup TN, Mr. Suresh Metris, Mr. Hemachandran, CEO, Brand Avatar, Mr. Suresh Kumar, CEO, Pepul Social Media. Another talk on How to convert business adversities into opportunities saw participation from Mr CK Kumaravel, CEO, Naturals Salon & Spa. Another workshop on Agritech 2030 - The Future of Technology in Agriculture was held by Mr. Murali Selvaraj, CEO & Founder, Visual Media Technologies – CloudsIndia.

Another FWC program on Personal branding for entrepreneurs to create your business persona was presided over by Mr. Sudharsanan Ganapathy, Founder & CEO, The Social Company, who’s India’s leading personal branding expert.

The Indo - Japan Business Exchange Meet conducted under the FWC banner was addressed by Mr. Yumoto San, President of ISHA - International SDG’s Human Resource Association, Japan.

Mr. Thangavel Puhal, Business Growth Specialist and CEO, Diginadu carried out a workshop for FWC on Ways to Make Your Business Content while CA Sunitha Shivram, Founder, VK Raman & Co spoke on Captial Care for Your Business - Manage and Strategise Your Capital. Another workshop was held on Customer Centricity - Your Marketing Superpower by Mr. Vinay Pushpakaran, Global Key Note Speaker, business coach and President, PSAI Professional Speakers Association of India.

Mr. Takesburo Arai, Indo Japan Business Consultant spoke at the Indo-Japan Meet. On the subject of Business Expansion—When and How?, Mr. Suresh Muthuvel, Associate Vice President, Sales, Franchise India Holdings Limited made a presentation.
