Please give us a background about your esteemed University, like when it was set up and the promoters behind your institution?

Marwadi Education Foundation Group of Institutions (MEFGI) was incepted in 2008 with a dedication towards expanding and sharing knowledge, inspiring innovation, and preserving cultural and scientific information for future generations. It was established as Marwadi University under the Gujarat Universities Act (Act 9, 2016) on May 9th, 2016. The University is promoted by Marwadi Shares and Finance Limited (MSFL) – a major stock broking company in India, and Chandarana Intermediaries Brokers Pvt Ltd (CIBPL) – a leading firm dealing in technical and arbitrage trading in Indian Stock Markets.

It received the status of Centre of Excellence from Government of Gujarat in 2021 and is the youngest University in Gujarat among six others to receive it. The MEFGI was also the youngest institution to receive NAAC A+ accreditation in 2016.
