On April 30, 2020 Hon’ble External Affairs Minister Dr. Jaishankar held tele-talks with Commonwealth of Dominica Foreign Minister Dr. Kenneth Darroux regarding the issue of covid19 pandemic and discussed matters of IT and distance education.

The Medical aid donated by the Government of India for the people and Government of Commonwealth of Dominica to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19, was formally handed over by Shri Arun Kumar Sahu, High Commissioner of India with concurrent accreditation to Commonwealth of Dominica at a virtual ceremony held on August 26, 2020. Dr. Irving Mclntyre, Minister of Health, Wellness and New Health Investment received the consignment at the virtual ceremony. The Minister of Health was accompanied by Permanent Secretary of Health, Wellness and New Health Investment Mrs. Letitia Lestrade-Wyke and Mr. Kent Edwards, Parliamentary Secretary.
