Afghan Embassy Celebrates Country’s 97th Independence Anniversary

Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in New Delhi celebrated the 97th anniversary of the country’s independence on November 2, 2016.

The independence anniversary took place at the Afghan Ambassador’s residence and was attended by Ajit Doval, National Security Advisor & other authorities from host country’s government; members of diplomatic missions, media, private sector, think- tanks, and the civil society as well as a members of Afghan community based in Delhi.

The Indian Union Cabinet Minister for Women & Child Development, H.E. Ms. Sanjay Maneka Gandhi participated as the Chief Guest of the event.
