Over the years we’ve not neglected our coverage of the Caribbean, mainly in terms of articles related to the Indian diaspora and also India’s official engagement in the region.

A Mexican film series was inaugurated by Minister Judith Arriega Munguia, Deputy Chief of Mission at the Embassy of Mexico in New Delhi in February. Mexican films have been globally recognized at Locarno in 2019 and Berlinale in 2020. Meanwhile, India’s influence lives on in contemporary Thailand. The Indian languages Sanskrit and Pali have influenced Thai languages. There is an article on Indo-Thailand ties.

We had an exhaustive session of the magazine’s Global Advisory Board, and we’ve a summary of what speakers had to say about fast-tracking India’s engagement with its diaspora. We hope all this and more makes for an interesting read.
