Over the years we’ve not neglected our coverage of the Caribbean, mainly in terms of articles related to the Indian diaspora and also India’s official engagement in the region. As recently as December 2020 we did a cover interview with the Indian-origin President of Suriname Mr Chandrikapersad Santokhi, who incidentally was also the chief guest at the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas (PBD) held virtually in January 2021. In the same issue we had an interview with the Indian Ambassador to Suriname H.E. M.S. Kanyal. Several eminent Indian origin persons in leadership positions in the Caribbean, across different walks of life, have either been interviewed by the magazine, featured in it, or have written for us.

We have brought out special issues on T&T and done extensive coverage several times, including when as Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar was invited as chief guest to the PBD in Jaipur in 2012. Over the years we’ve interviewed political stalwarts from the region like former Foreign Minister Winston Dookeran (also on our Global Advisory Board) and former Deputy PM Lenny Saith who was honored at a function the magazine hosted in New Delhi. Mr Dookeran also served for a brief but very critical period as T&T’s Prime Minister.
