Speaking on the occasion, the Commerce Secretary said that the purpose of this International Summit in India is to reach out to countries and people in various regions of the world for collaborations and capacity- building in the healthcare sector. The collaborations can benefit medical value travelers from various nations in the long run.

Ms Teaotia added that the Government is making effort to promote India as a Premier Global Healthcare Destination and enable streamlined medical services exports from India. This is a unique conglomeration of the 5 T’s – Talent, Tradition, Technology, Tourism and Trade. It will showcase India and its immense pool of medical capabilities as well as create opportunities for healthcare collaborations between the participating countries.

Commerce Secretary expressed the hope that the deliberations at “Advantage Healthcare India – 2015” would not only reflect the voice of the sector, but also bring crucial stakeholders together to think alike. This will also initiate a new campaign to create a roadmap for seamless Medical Value Travel to India.
