WOMEN JOURNOS: LESS EQUAL
Women in India have made great strides in
journalism, yet the attitude in newsrooms continues to
be biased against them. Sexual harassment is a reality
and worse, few are granted maternity leave. A report
by the Press Institute of India reveals that a woman
journalist relentlessly battles for wage, promotions
and opportunities on a par with their male
counterparts. Usha Rai, deputy director, PII said,
"Nearly 23 per cent of women journalists interviewed
admitted they had been sexually harassed."

ACTING LESSON
If there is one person that Hrithik Roshan idolizes as
well as enjoys working with, it’s Amitabh Bachchan.
The actor explains: "Earlier, when I would get
anxious before every shot and mug my lines, I would
feel 'different' because I noticed I was the exception
rather than the rule. But when I shot for several
scenes with Amitabh for Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham as
well as Lakshya, I noticed he did likewise too. And I
felt reassured. If a legend like him needs to
prepare, so do I." But unlike the legend who is on a
signing spree, Hrithik has no films on hand after
Lakshya, though there is a buzz about dad Rakesh
Roshan planning a sequel to Koi Mil Gaya.

is a 1300 cc bike that can do
350 kmph." Abraham, who
owns a Hayabusa in real life, is
also co-starring with one in
Yash Chopra’s testosteroneheavy
production, Dhoom.
"While both the other heroes
in the film, Abhishek and Uday
Chopra, have heroines to
romance with, my romantic
interest in the movie is the
bike," he jokes
