COMPANY PROFILE
The Trinidad and Tobago Film Company Limited provides logistical support and core services such as location scouting, research and acts as a liaison with industry partners, the community, production houses and Government agencies. This support and service is provided from the initial contact to the close of production.
CURRENT SERVICES
· Provides incentives and rebates for filming on location in Trinidad and Tobago.
· Provides a well-organized administrative structure to facilitate all incoming film crews to Trinidad and Tobago.
· Acts as a liaison with different Ministries and co-ordinates the permits to film, e.g. Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of National Security, Ministry of Works & Transportation, Trinidad & Tobago Police Service, Ministry of Local Government, Customs & Excise, Immigration, Fire Services and Ministry of Health.
· Networks with the Customs and Excise Division to allow for the temporary importation of film, television and radio equipment into Trinidad and Tobago without crews having to post a Bond, or pay duties and Value Added Tax.
· Facilitates media accreditation and support of the Copyright Organization of Trinidad and Tobago (COTT) for the protection of Intellectual Property Rights.
· Networks with industry partners for reduced rates for airline travel, accommodation, transport and other support service providers.
· Provides information on services available by certified and approved Tour Guide Operators and Tour Guides.
