Story about Pandavas Indraprastha

Legends are replete with stories of the architectural beauty and grandeur of the magnificent city of Indraprastha. This iconic city draws its history from the Mahabharata. Soon after the Pandavas entered Khandavaprastha, they approached Lord Krishna, their mentor and cousin for help. Upon which Lord Krishna invited Viswakarma, the celestial architect to design the city of Indraprastha, which was to be built on the lines of Lord Indra’s model city Amaravathi. In fact, once Indraprastha was completed, it was so perfect a city, it made even Lord Indra envious.
